Angela Louise Taylor August 25th, 1971 - June 7th, 2022
Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Angela Louise passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on June 7th, 2022 at 9:17 pm after a long battle with Huntington's Disease. She was diagnosed in 2010 and fought hard for twelve years. She is finally at peace and no longer suffering.
Angela was born on August 25th, 1971 to Peggy Sue Money and Richard Henry Smith, Jr. in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Sandalwood High School in 1989 with honors. She was the most loving and affectionate mother, the life of the party, and knew how to make everyone feel special and important. You would often find her at a family cookout, on the beach, reading a juicy romance novel, enjoying cocktails and music, and spending time with her kids. There was nothing more important to her than family.
She left behind many family and friends. She is survived by her four loving children; Stephanie Renae Taylor, Sierra Taylor Heist, Summer Raquel Borges, and Sawyer Christopher Cook; her mother, Peggy Money; her siblings, Richard Smith III, Patricia Spraggins, and Patrick Smith; five grandchildren, Madax, Astin, Weston, Kai, and Laine. Plus many nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She will truly be missed, but the family is comforted in knowing that she is joining her brother, Christopher Smith, her father, Richard Smith Jr., her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in heaven.
Her family has honored her wish to be cremated and will hold a memorial service for her on Friday, June 24th at 3 pm at First Christian Church of the Beaches. There will be food and beverages to follow in the fellowship hall. Bring memories to share and laughs to be heard. Angela loved bright colors and the beach, so the family asks that everyone refrain from wearing dark colors. This will be a joyous day to honor her memory and rejoice in her freedom from illness. All family and friends are welcome to join.
