Ann Janet Andres, 85, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was a retired salesperson for Key Communications and lifelong member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
She was born on August 12, 1939 in Floyds Knobs to Pete and Rosa (Meyer) Andres. Along with her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer and Norbert Andres; and sisters, Leona Lawson, Alberta Bertrand and Mildred Niehoff.
Ann is survived by her brother, Melford Andres; and sisters, Rita Nolot (Vern), Judith Bowe; and many generations of nieces and nephews.
Ann's wish was to be cremated and a reception of family and friends will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). She will be laid to rest privately at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Cemetery.
