Edward E Freiberger, Jr., 62, of Floyds Knobs, joined his wife in heaven on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1963 to Edward and Barbara Freiberger.
He was an avid outdoorsman, farmer, and dedicated family man. He is survived by his parents, Edward and Barbara Freiberger, Sr, his sisters Karen O’Neal (Freiberger) and Lisa Andres (Freiberger), two sons Nicholas Freiberger and Travis Jacobi, many nieces and nephews and four grandchildren.
Ed graduated Floyd Central high school and went straight to work at Derby City Signs as a member of IBEW Local 369 electrical workers union, and his coworkers looked up to him greatly for guidance.
People that knew him always could count on him as he was a true man of his word. He was a hard-working soul that loved to hunt and walk in the woods. Tending to his farm was laborious, but he found great pleasure in it. He especially loved his cows and taking four-wheeler rides around the property to survey the land. His favorite colors were hunter camo and Budweiser red.
