Janice M Finnegan, 83, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born in Guthrie, OK, on November 12, 1941, to the late Clifford and Lola Scott (Adair).

Janice was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a steadfast Catholic, attending Mass at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was also a dedicated nurse, retiring from the VA Hospital after 35 years of service.

Preceding Janice in death is her husband, John "Jack" Finnegan, son, Scott Matthew Finnegan, and her parents, Clifford and Lola Scott.

The family members left to cherish memories and celebrate the life of Janice are her children, Laura Mahoney (John), John Finnegan III (Jill), Karen Watt (Kyle), Anne Lucas (Brad Miller), Natalie Wenzel (Craig); and Patrick Finnegan (Eileen), twenty-three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her brother, Myron Scott; and her cousin, Norma Smith.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 1:00 pm-8:00 pm, at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market Street, New Albany, IN.) The funeral Mass for Janice will be on the following day, Friday, September 19, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church: 316 N. Sherwood Ave, Clarksville, IN, with Fr. Florian Tiell, OFM Conv. The burial is to follow in St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery, Floyds Knobs, IN.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Meals On Wheels, 701 W. Ormsby Ave, #201, Louisville, KY. 40203.
