Annette Irene Budge, age 92, a longtime resident of Bloomington, MN passed away on December 26, 2024. Annette was born to Trygve and Catherine Potter (née Turner) in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. The oldest of three children, her childhood was spent in the small town of Hawkins, Wisconsin.
Annette received her undergraduate degree in Education from the University of WI Superior in 1954 and during her teaching career, she obtained a master's degree in education. She spent her career in the Bloomington School System and eventually took on the roles of grade level lead for kindergarten and assistant principal. She had a special talent for connecting with kids, and she loved being a teacher.
Annette was a long-time member of Minnesota Valley Country Club, and enjoyed the social aspect of golfing. She also enjoyed traveling, and in her retirement, she made several trips to London and Norway. Annette loved being a grandma and found special joy in being in all her grandkids' lives.
Annette was preceded in death by two loving husbands, Don Budge and Robert Olson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Bud Potter and Karn Perkins; and her son, Randall Budge.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Michael) Lehnertz; grandchildren, Joe, Nick and Charlie; stepchildren, Debbie (Dan) Bergeron, Rob (Beth) Olson, Tim Olson; and grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Sara, Samantha, Sydney, Zach; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial visitation to be held from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, January 18th at Washburn-McReavy Dawn Valley Chapel in Bloomington. Private family interment at Dawn Valley Memorial Park.
