Annie B. Pearson

Annie B. Pearson, of Rockford departed this earthly life May 21, 2024. She was born September 22, 1935 in Inverness, Mississippi the of daughter Robert and Annie Poe. Annie B. lived in Rockford since 1954 coming from Little Rock, Arkansas. She married Lattimore Pearson II, in Rockford, April 25, 1956. Annie B. was a former member of Christian Union and United Faith Baptist Church where she served as a Mother, currently a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. She attended schools in Mississippi.
Annie B. leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband, Lattimore Pearson II; four daughters, Ramona (Kevin) Fouse, Toni (Jerry) Paige, Leicia (Charlie) Brown and Kimberly (Daryl) Purifoy; three sons, Michael (Rose) Pearson, Ronald (Joyce) Pearson and Lattimore III. (Gloria) Pearson; 19 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Evans, Emma Poe and Pearline Poe; and brother, Thomas (Grace) Poe; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Georgia A. Sams; two grandsons; four sisters, Marie Chandler, Mary Hunter, Bobbie Harris and Carlean Anderson; and three brothers Robert, Matthew and John Poe.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Empowerment Word Christian Center 4038 E. State St. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
