Beloved husband of 69 years to Maria (Chaves) Sousa. Devoted father of the late Maria Inez Chaves and her husband Antonio B. Chaves, Maria Fatima Chaves and her husband Jose B. Chaves, Aida Leedberg, Lucy Williams and her husband Bob Williams, David Sousa and his wife Magan Sousa. Cherished Avô of 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Antonio will be laid to rest at Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater.
