Ardis "Ardy" Jean Drewyor, age 97, passed away on October 6, 2024.

She was born on March 4, 1927, in Adrian, Michigan to Lawrence and Gladys (Bowen) Drewyor.

Ardy attended Cleveland Bible College, where she met her lifelong friend, Ruth Alma (Mosher) Mitchell. She worked as Dr. Edward Mitchell’s office manager for 25 years.

Ardy loved The Lord Jesus and was an active member of Alliance First Friends Church. She served as secretary of the Women’s Missionary Society and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was recognized for her talent of whistling hymns at church. She displayed a gentle, humble servant attitude in all of her relationships. Her humor, wit and friendly demeanor endeared her to many. She loved all animals, especially dogs and horses. Though she lived most of her years in Ohio, she was always a Michiganian at heart. She also loved to travel, especially to the Southwest USA.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Larry whom she adored, and his wife Shirley Drewyor; niece, Diana Drewyor; nephews, Douglas and Bradley Drewyor; close friend Ruth Alma Mitchell and the Mitchell children, James and Barb Mitchell, David and Beth Mitchell, Daniel and Rhonda Mitchell, and Janice and David Sickle; and friends, Carmen and Ron Jones.
