Mr. Cruz was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Ariel is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Erica) Cruz of Twinn Bridge, MT, Alesia Cruz of Ian o Lake, FL and Isabell Cruz of Plano, IL; his grandchildren, Caleb, Daniel, Eli, Kya and Adriel; his siblings, Enrique (Gloria) Cruz Jr. of Ozona, TX, Eloy (Rosa) Cruz of El Paso, TX, Noe Cruz of Yorkville, IL and Maria Castro of Tunnel Hill, GA; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Rosa Cruz.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1001 North Center Avenue, Plano, IL. Interment will follow in the Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street, Plano, IL.
