Arlene "Ar" Verre went to be with her Lord on September 14, 2024. She was born August 8, 1936, in Chicago Illinois, to Erwin and Josephine Heise.
Arlene was a beloved mother, wife, and friend. When able, she attended St. William Catholic church with her daughter and family, who serve as Parishioners.
She and her husband of 70 years, Charles, loved to travel together. They especially loved going to Europe and enjoying Mediterranean cruises. Over the years the pair went to Italy, France, Spain, and the Caribbean Islands.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles; daughter, Charlene Brown and husband Dennis; son, Ronald "Ron" Verre; grandchildren: Jamie Blue and wife Becca, Eugene Mee and wife Naviana, Alexandra Gunderman, Jessica Gunderman, Ryan Brown and wife Mary Magdalene, Megan Boren and husband Travis, Garrett Brown and fiancé Laura MacManus; great grandchildren: Ezra Blue, Avery Blue, Iris Blue, Anna Brown, Andrew Brown, Philip Brown, James Brown, Peter Brown, Lorenzo Mee; two sisters: Laverne Flanagan and husband Jim, and Patricia Plonis; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving friends.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents: Erwin and Josephine Heise; two daughters: Rene Marie Blue, and Kimberly Ann Keith; as well as her brother-in-law: Ron Plonis.
A Visitation with Rosary Service will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville. A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor at 11am on Friday, September 27, 2024 at St. William Catholic Church in Greenville, Texas.
