Armando Nunez, Jr., born on January 23, 1976, peacefully passed away on June 20, 2025. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, who lived a life rich in creativity and passion.
Throughout his life, Armando had a profound love for music and cars. In his younger years he was an active member of a local car club, where he enjoyed cruising down Ocean Drive, reveling in the sights and sounds of Corpus Christi. The combination of the wind in his hair and the rhythm of his favorite tunes played through his car's sound system painted a vivid picture of his joyful escapades. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, as he embraced the simple pleasures with a heart full of adventure.
In addition to his love for cars and music, Armando had a wide array of interests that enriched his life and the lives of those around him. He found joy in drawing, cooking, and watching movies. Armando was also an avid fan of WWE wrestling, a passion he shared with family and friends, adding an element of excitement and fun to their gatherings.
Armando's legacy carries on through his two daughters, Alexus Victoria Nunez and Mya Lopez, who will forever cherish the memories they created together. He is also survived by his sister, Rosa Maria Deleon, who remains a pillar of strength and support for the family. His life touched those of his grandchildren, Lydia Nunez and Sebastian Nunez, who enjoyed countless moments filled with laughter and love.
He leaves behind a close-knit family, including his aunt, Olga Hildebrand, and uncle, Ray Brown, and is fondly remembered by his cousin, Johnny Hildebrand. His love extends to his nieces, Allyssa Deleon and Annie Prado, and his nephews, Daniel David Deleon and Romeo Deleon, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry on his spirit.
Armando was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Armando Landa Nunez Sr. and Maria Elena Nunez, and his older sister, Lydia Lott, who have welcomed him into eternal peace. His warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed, yet his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
