Isabella Ricci Obituary

We gather today to celebrate the life of Isabella Lanna Rose Ricci, known affectionately as Bella, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence from June 20, 2025, until her untimely departure on August 17, 2025. Bella was a beacon of love and joy in the lives of all who knew her, especially her parents, Ethan Ricci and Alyssa Story, who enveloped her in boundless love from her first breath.

She was the treasured granddaughter of Christina and Edward Ricci, Lia and Justin Gordon, all of whom awaited her arrival with great joy and celebrated each moment they were able to spend knowing and loving her. Her godparents, John and Christie Wojtasczyk, were honored to be chosen to guide her in faith and love, her numerous uncles and aunts – Tyler, Tristan, Destiny, Brooke, Dominic, Fred, Jacob, Hudson, Selma, and Megan – each held a special place in her life, ready to spoil her with love and laughter.

In her brief time here on Earth, Bella's radiant smile and infectious giggle brought immeasurable happiness to her family. Her intelligent eyes sparkled with the promise of a bright future, and her funny antics were a source of amusement for all who knew her. She was the true embodiment of love, touching the hearts of everyone around her with her purity and innocence.

Bella's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her family's life, and it is with this profound faith in God's plan that we bid her farewell. Her short time with us is a reminder of the preciousness and precarity of life, and the love that binds us all. Bella enjoyed watching television nestled in the loving arms of her mother and father, and this special time spent as a family created memories that will be treasured forever.

As we reflect on Bella's life, we are reminded of the words of Matthew 19:14, "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" Bella, in her innocence and purity, is now cradled in the arms of our Lord. She watches over us all with the same love that we so freely gave her.

Though her time with us was far too short, the impact of Bella's loving, funny, and intelligent spirit will resonate for eternity. She was a gift from God, a precious child who, though she never spoke a word, taught us all about the infinite nature of God's love for us.

As we say our earthly goodbyes to Isabella Lanna Rose Ricci, let us do so with the knowledge that she is at peace in the heavenly kingdom and that we will all see her again someday. Let us always carry her spirit in our hearts. Bella, your light will never fade; it will continue to shine brightly. Please guide us until we meet again in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Amen.

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you,

before you were born, I set you apart."
