Ashley Nicole Turner

Ashley Nicole Turner, age 28, of Forkston, PA passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Born in Tunkhannock, PA on December 18, 1996, she was the daughter of Robert Turner of Forkston, PA and Toni Hicks of Elmira, NY.

Growing up in the Forkston area, she attended Tunkhannock High School. Ashley was employed with Ace Hardware in Scranton, PA.

She enjoyed being in the outdoors and doing arts and crafts, and could often be found completing one of her drawings or outside feeding the deer, sometimes directly from her hand.  Most of all, Ashley loved spending time with her daughter, Carlicia.  She was a loved mother, daughter, and sister.

Along with her parents, Ashley is survived by her daughter, Carlicia Cintron of Forkston, PA; her step-mother, Brandi Turner of Forkston, PA; her siblings, Zachary Turner of Forkston, PA, Michael Miller (Kristal) of Sayre, PA, and Jessica Brent (Wayne) of Elmira, NY; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service for Ashley will be held on a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at any Community Bank branch, with the account being in her father's name, or directly to sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA, in order to help cover the cost of services.
