Audrey M. Larson

Audrey M. Larson, age 91, formerly a Valders resident and a current resident of Harborview Assisted Living of Manitowoc, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Harborview Assisted Living.
Audrey was born on December 22, 1932 in Whitelaw, daughter of the late Alfons and Vlasta (Ledvina) Zipperer. She was a graduate of St. Michael's Grade School in Whitelaw, and in 1951 she graduated from Valders High School. On February 9, 1952 she married Kenneth "Junior" E. Larson Jr. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2021.
Audrey was employed by Eastman Manufacturing as a payroll manager and retired from Manitowoc County Bank. Following her retirement, she loved working in the pro shop at Seven Lakes Golf Course.
She liked to play golf, knit, crochet, make hand made greeting cards and socialize with friends. Audrey was a talented crafter and exceptional quilter who enjoyed making gifts for family and friends. Her memory will live on for generations to come through the quilts she made that have been passed on to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Audrey was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.
Survivors include her children: Greg (Mary) Larson, Cato; Kenny (Patty) Larson, Valders; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings: Bob (Nancy) Zipperer, Janet Christel, Nancy Alexander, Jane (Pat) Stedl; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: John Larson, Richard (Donna) Larson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alfons and Vlasta Zipperer; her husband: Kenneth "Junior' E. Larson Jr.; one son: Steven Larson; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Kenneth and Josephine Larson Sr.; one sister and brother-in-law: Joyce (Art) Ayotte; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Ron Christel, Bob Alexander, Dale (Elaine) Skatrud, LaVerne Larson.
Private family funeral services took place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial was the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Entombment was held at the Knollwood Mausoleum.
