One of my favorite memories with Blake is: we were at the church for a cookout type fellowship and he was doing what he loves, planting rose bushes in front of the church. I walked over to give a helping hand taking stuff out of his truck which then turned into him asking me to help plant them. I told him "Blake, I do NOT have a green thumb. These roses will die before I even get them in the ground good" he gave his gut laugh and said "Ah come in Kim. It can´t be that bad, just do what I tell you and it´ll be just fine" I said ok Blake if you say so but trust me they will die. About 2 weeks later guess what? Those rose bushes were dying. I said "see I told you" and he just laughed. God how I´m going to miss that laugh.
