Barbara Jean Clarke, 75, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
She was born on September 17, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward and Nannie (Cook) Coy. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Rick Clarke, son, David Warren Mabry, Jr and four brothers, Floyd, Raymond, Roy and Ronald Coy.
Barbara is survived by her loving sisters, Judy Knight, Lucille Benner, granddaughter, Autumn Mabry, step-granddaughter, Jessica Voyles, step-daughter, Dana Simon (Mike), two sisters-in-law, Vicki Theeuwes and Pat Padelford and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering to celebrate Barbara's life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Barbara’s memory be made to WHAS Crusade for Children and/or Kosair for Kids.
