Barbara Gessner Obituary
Born in Brooklyn, NY to a George and Doris (née Kattoff) Schonhaut. Resided in Monroe.
Barbara was a vibrant soul, known for her magnetic personality and unique ability to command any room.
She was our dearly loved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and will be greatly missed by her loving family and close friends.
She is predeceased by her sister Phyllis Menchel and her son, Steven Gessner.
She is survived by her loving husband Jerry; her children, Howard and Marla, her grandchildren Jason and fiancée Nikki, Samantha and partner Andy, Matthew, Dani, Tyler, Jayden, and Dylan, her daughter-in-law Amy, her son-in-law Michael, her niece Ivy, her nephew Alan, her niece-in-law Randi, her great-nephew Gavin and his fiancée Francesca, her great-niece Sydnie, and her son-in-law's brother, Steven.
We invite family and friends to join us as we celebrate and remember Barbara's remarkable life, the funeral service will be held on Monday September 16th, 2024 10:30 a.m. at the Sanctuary of Abraham & Sarah Mausoleum at 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ, 07652.
