New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on July 31, 1941, to Alan Johnston and Miriam Serio Johnston, who predeceased her. Barbara's love for her family knew no bounds, and she was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones, especially during the meals she prepared with great care and affection.
Her kitchen was not just a place for cooking but a haven of warmth and conversation, where bonds were strengthened and memories made. Her generosity extended beyond her family as she was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends in need.
She was a loving mother to her children, Capt. Christopher Johnson (Judy), Capt. Robert Johnson, Stacy Johnson, and Capt.
