Barbara A. Kiesling

Barbara Agnes Kiesling (née Rueckert), age 73 of Suring, passed peacefully at home on September 13, 2023. She was born July 27, 1950 to the late Agnes and Edward Rueckert. On October 11, 1969 she married Heinz Kiesling and they raised their two children, Scott and Carrie, in the town of Suring. Heinz preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by her two children, Scott (Sherri) Kiesling and Carrie (Tim) Bodart; grandchildren Emily May, Jordan Kiesling (fiancé Rico Rivera), Heinz Weston Kiesling, Jake Bodart, Taylor Bodart and Paige Bodart; and great-grandson Pierce Rivera.
Barb and Heinz cherished time with their grandchildren above all else. Barbara was gifted with a needle and thread, loved watching British crime dramas and was a devoted mama to many beloved rescue pets over the years. She lived her life with a quiet strength, a gentle heart and a subtle, sly sense of humor.
Per Barbara's request there will be no funeral or service. In lieu of any gifts, please make a donation to your favorite animal rescue organization. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.
