Barbara Ellen Luikart

Barbara Ellen Luikart, 60, of Leon, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Barbara lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and adventure. She spent many years working as an accountant, a career that took her all across the United States. Wherever she went, she made friends easily and left people smiling. She loved taking cruises, camping with her family, and simply enjoying time outdoors.
To those who knew her best, Barbara was affectionately known as "Meash" to her children and "Nana"to her grandchildren, titles she treasured most of all. She was the heart of her family, always ready with a warm hug, a listening ear, and a word of encouragement.
Born April 17, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Bessie (Deal) Rutledge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Minor, and her nephew, Jason Rutledge.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Clarence Luikart; her children, Clarence Justin Luikart Westerville, OH, and Tiffanie (Josh) Dillon of Dublin, OH; her beloved grandchildren, Benjamin and Gavin Luikart; her sisters, Mary Luikart of West Virginia and Charlotte Richardson of Buffalo; and her brothers, Jerry Rutledge of Gallipolis, Kenneth Rutledge of Florida, Barry Rutledge of Leon, and Lloyd Thomas Rutledge Jr. of Cardington, OH. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Raynes Funeral Home in Buffalo. Burial will follow in Shiloah Cemetery in Red House. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Barbara's memory will live on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the love of her family, and the many lives she touched along the way.
