Barbara "Babs" Lutton

Barbara (Babs) Lutton, 82, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2022. Born September 21, 1939, in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late John Tischler and Barbara Patterson. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Karen (Jim) Ahern of Downingtown, PA, Son, David (Kim) Szafranski of Orefield, PA and four grandaughters; Lauren Ahern, Emily Ahern, Kaitlyn Szafranski and Ashley Szafranski. Barbara was predeceased by her husband William Lutton.
Barbara graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, PA. After raising her family in Pennsylvania she retired as an executive secretary for UGI corporation and moved to Port St. Lucie. She was an active member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church serving as past President of Palm Beach Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and as a Catechist for many years. She also enjoyed playing golf, volunteering for the PGA and playing bridge. She will be missed dearly by her children, grandchildren and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Barbara's funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. April 7, 2022 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd. Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. A private family internment will be held in Pittsburgh, PA.
