Barbara Jean Nibblins age 85 of Woodbridge passed away peacefully on
08/18/2024.
Barbara was born in Washington DC to George Morgan Sr. and Betty Griffin on 08/09/1939. She went to school in Chantilly, Virginia. She married Fred Nibblins on August 14, 1957, in Oak Grove Virginia. Barbara was a licensed practical Nurse for Fairfax Hospital and different private companies for over 40 years.
Barbara is preceded by; her parents George Morgan Sr., Betty Griffin, Stepmother Dorothy Morgan, Brother George Morgan Jr., and Grandsons Eric Nibblins and Vincent Nibblins.
Our beloved Mother Barbara, is survived; by her children Cecelia Nibblins Denita Simpkins, Alfreda Davis, Fredrick Nibblins, Barbara Renee Fitzsimmons, Latonya Redmond, Veronica Sanders, her brother Ralph Morgan and her Sister-in-law Eunice Morgan. Barbara had 18 grandchildren and a considerable number of great-grandchildren. She had four sons-in-law. Gregory Simpkins,
Andre Sanders, Robert Davis, and Phillip Fitzsimmons.
Barbara will be remembered by her host family and friends who loved her dearly. Surely, we can all tell a story about her. Barbara is a beautiful strong woman. She loved to play tennis in her younger days and watched Jimmy Swaggart every night before bed.
You will be missed by all who know you and love you. Your footstep could never be filled, and your love will forever be amongst us. Though the loss is deep in our hearts, the power of love and family will always keep your memories alive.
Goodbye isn't truly goodbye for all of us, for your heart will forever be connected to ours! May eternal rest be granted unto the O'Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.
Rest in heavenly peace forever and always.
