Latisha Lynette Nibblins

Latisha Lynette Nibblins went to be in her forever resting place on March 3rd 2024. She was born on June 28th 1978 in UVA Health University Hospital, Charlottesville VA.
Latisha was the matriarch of the family but also the bossy one. She was a vibrant soul who also took on life's everyday battles with grace and perseverance. Latisha loved being a caregiver. She loved to sing, dance, and cook. Latisha also loved cooking and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. Other than being called Mother, her favorite titles were Granny and Aunti.
After battling a tough fight with ongoing illnesses and doing dialysis for twenty-five years, Latisha gained her wings and joined the Lord.
Latisha was preceded in death by her lovely mother, Brenda L Coxton who was married to her father Darrell B Coxton.
Latisha was also preceded in death by her beautiful sister Shameka Lewis.
She is survived by her father Darrell B Coxton, her spouse James D Person Jr., and her children Antwain Coxton, Brandon Coxton, Deyvon Coxton, Leaonia Montgomery, Rachel Person, Tamiaya Person, Quinnton Lewis along with 10 Grandchildren Kaleb, Grabriella, Heavenly, Brennen, Harlem, Lynnlee, Brielle. Ka'miyah, Dayla and Amari.
Latisha has surviving siblings Ryan Hunter, Tamesha Cook, Henry Lewis, Darrin Lewis, Keyausha Davis, Kendrell King, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Latisha is now resting at the forever age of 45. She will be greatly missed by her family and lifelong friends but she will never be forgotten.
Funeral services for Latisha L Nibblins will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday March 14th 2024 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Virginia with the Brother Danny Stinson officiating. Interment will follow at the Coxton Family Cemetery in Thompson Valley.
Pallbearers will be Antwain Coxton, Brandon Coxton, Deyvon Coxton, Deandra Page, Henry Lewis, Kendrell King, David Warren, and Michael Smith.
The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home until the time of service.
