A dear mother, sister, aunt, and friend is gone too soon! Barbara (Tirocchi) Petrocelli, 62, of North Providence, passed peacefully on Sunday, September 4th at Roger Williams Hospital surrounded by loving family. A daughter of the late Louis and Clorinda "Gloria" (DelRusso) Tirocchi, she leaves a son she adored, Anthony Petrocelli of Cassino, Lazio, Italy, devoted sister, Donna Tirocchi, of North Providence, and brothers, David Tirocchi of Cranston, Louis Tirocchi of North Scituate, and Robert Tirocchi of North Providence, and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Barbara was a graduate of the Sawyer Business School where she was also later employed. She shared her sharp wit, great sense of humor, and wonderful personality with all those with whom she interacted. Artistically inclined, Barbara appreciated the visual arts and was an extremely gifted artist who especially loved to draw. She thoroughly enjoyed watching vintage movies and classic television shows, as well as listening to all genres of music. Barbara will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who loved her. Rest in peace, Barbara.
A Funeral Mass for Barbara, to which family and friends are respectfully invited to attend will be held Wednesday, September 14th, 11am at Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave. Providence RI. Burial will be private.
