Barbara is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Kathy Spinks (Don Lamm), Sherry (Dirk) Tucker and Michelle (Kevin) Watrin; grandchildren, Michael (Allie) McHaley, Hogan McHaley, Lexi (Cole) Yonkee, Jayden Watrin, Caylee Watrin, Nolan Watrin and Venecia Watrin; siblings Diane (Richard) Dial, James (Shannon) Woodard, John (Nancy) Woodard and sister-in-law Sheila Woodard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Zachary Tucker, and her brother Ronald K. Woodard.
Barbara loved her family and was the matriarch to all of us. She loved keeping a beautiful yard filled with flowers. She was never a stranger to anyone and enjoyed learning about everyone she met. She had a big influence on many classes of tennis players during her seven years of coaching at Owen Valley High School with her husband Michael. They spent sixty-four wonderful years together and created the most beautiful legacy of love through their family.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastors Diane Wells and Alvin McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Graysville, Indiana.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to the Owen County Community Foundation.
