Barry was my doctor for a significant number of years. He become, over the years, an individual who demonstrated his caring for his fellow man. He exhibited the meaning of "do no harm" and what is attributed to the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates, erroneously as part of the Hippocratic Oath. I shall miss him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Barry over 50 years ago when we were busboys in the Catskills in New York. We became fast friends, perhaps because the work was demanding and a bit crazy. Shortly after, Barry and I went cross country from New York to California in a beat up Dodge van. There are three things that I remember most about Barry. #1 Nothing fazed him. Whether it be the demands of being a busboy in the Catskills or the many mishaps dealing with an old Van. He just rolled with things. #2 His laughter. #3 His quiet demeaner. He just seemed calm regardless of the situation. As a worrier, he brought calm when I got upset. My prayers and condolences are with his family. Larry Julian, Minneapolis, MN
