Boardman - Barry Lee Russell, 78, of Boardman OH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Barry was born on October 13, 1946 in Jenners, PA to Constant Gevenosky and Lavada Hubert. He was shortly later adopted by Joseph and Alice Russell, being raised in Poland and Struthers, OH.

He was a 1964 graduate of Struthers High School. Barry was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army from 1966 to 1968, as a Turbine Engine Aircraft Mechanic and Door Gunner.

Barry was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Triangle Post 2799 in New Springfield, Ohio and the American Legion Post 290 in Columbiana, Ohio. He enjoyed his outings to the casino and watching NASCAR and football.

He was preceded in death by his birth parents and adopted parents.
