Beatrice W. Sharpton "Bea" age 70, passed away July 16, 2024 in Tulsa Oklahoma. She was born February 13, 1954, in VanBuren Arkansas to James and Hazel Wehunt.
Bea attended North Little Rock Highschool and the University of Arkansas, graduating with her bachelor's in music and education. She also completed Pre-Law School in hopes to move on to Law School in the future.
She worked many places such as the Little Rock Credit Bureau, and taught Music at a Catholic and Baptist Church. She loved teaching and learning all she could, she was so smart, and it was reflected in her work.
On June 12, 1982, she married the love of her life Tony Sharpton at the Matoka Baptist Church, the two loved to travel and spend time together. Their favorite things to do together were gardening, fishing, and watching "The Days of Our Lives" on TV.
She was so proud of all her accomplishments and her marriage.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents James and Hazel Wehunt, and her Uncle Gilbert.
Her memory lives on with her husband Tony Sharpton, her sister Linda, and her brother James Wehunt.
