Born in Phillipsburg on January 27, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Lizzie Korona Mrockovski.
A graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1955, she was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS degree in medical technology in 1961. Bernadette retired from the Medical Center at Princeton Laboratory in 2009. She was a volunteer at the Bordentown Library, and was an avid reader, and a diehard New York Mets and New York Giants fan. She also enjoyed traveling.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 9 – 10:30 am at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg with a Funeral Mass being held at 11:00 am at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 S. Main Street, also in Phillipsburg. The interment will be at St. Philip & St. James Cemetery in Greenwich Township, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the Associated Humane Society – Monmouth County, 2960 Shafta Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07753.
