Bernard G Brusky

Bernard G Brusky entered into the Lord's Garden October 24, 2024. Bernie was born June 11, 1958 (66years) to Richard and Eleanor (Lyman) Brusky. Bernie graduated from Avon Lake High School class of 1976. Bernie loved rooting for the ALHS Shoremen and the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns and the Guardians. He enjoyed the classic rock of his youth including the Electric Light Orchestra, Raspberries, Fleetwood Mac, Bread and Journey. His favorite past times were watching the sunset or the planes take off with his two kids at Cleveland Hopkins. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football and his faith. Bernie lived to love the Lord throughout his life. He traveled to Israel, Italy, Yukaslovia and many other countries for ministry to teach children how to read the bible in English. He was even baptized in the Jordan River. Taking solace with his creator Jesus. He was the kindest and most generous of souls. He was a proud father of both his children and attended every baton competition, parade and football game to see his daughter perform. His son became a pilot and he got to witness him being sworn into the Navy. Bernie was the father of his loving daughter Jenette Simpson (Brusky) and Grant Brusky, both of Avon Lake. Surviving are father Richard, brothers Brian, Michael, Allen and Joe. His only grandson Logan Simpson and previous wife Susan who he loved faithfully all his life and never remarried. Preceded by death, mother Eleanor, Grandparents Ralph and Emma Lyman, John and Angela Brusky and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, from 2-4 and 6-8, at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Rd. Avon Lake, 44012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 31, 11am, at St. Joseph Church, 32946 Electric Blvd. Avon Lake, 44012. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon.
