Betty Croxall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Arner Funeral Chapel - Chester on May 9, 2025.
Betty Jean (Linville) Croxall, born on January 18th, 1945, in Bernie, WV left this world on April 30th, 2025, at the age of 80 after a short stent at Auburn Nursing Home, in Damascus, Oh. Betty is the daughter of the late Hilton and Lucille (Linkous)Linville. She was also preceded in death by her beloved brother, Jack Linville. She was a lifelong resident of East Liverpool and graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1963.
Betty married William B. Croxall on August 2nd, 1965, who gave her, if you asked her, her greatest gifts: her children and grandchildren.
Betty was a hard worker all of her life and worked as a manager for many years until a well-deserved retirement. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends and enjoyed the thrill of putting a few coins in the slot machines. She was most proud of her role as Grandmother and Great Grandmother which brought her immense joy. Betty will be deeply missed by her children, Christina May (Donald) of Perris, California, Todd Croxall (Holly) of Salem, Ohio, and Stacy Lenton (Matt) of Salem, Ohio; her only great grand-child Calloway Hutchison, grandchildren, Erika Hutchison (Luke), Nathan May, Alex and Evan Croxall, Kennedy and Lincoln Lenton, Caidee, Caylee, and Caycee Schroeder; and sister-in-law, Kathy Linville who she loved dearly.
Her warmth and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, especially her cherished grandchildren and the many lives she touched.
Private services honoring her life will be held with family, and she will rest peacefully at Riverview Cemetery in East Liverpool. Arrangements were made by the Arner Funeral Chapel.
Betty and her family would request that no flowers be sent and to make a donation in her memory to the foundation "A Kid Again", which is an organization that supports families and children with life-threatening conditions. In honor of her grandson Lincoln Lenton who suffers from 12q chromosome deletion. Contributions in honor of Betty's memory can be sent to A Kid Again 777-G Dearborn Park Lane Columbus, OH 43085 US or www.my.kidagain.org.
