Betty Kirby Obituary

Mrs. Kirby was the widow of Michael Barfield Kirby, Sr., who went to be with Jesus on June 22, 2006. They were married 40 years. She is survived by her sons: Michael Kirby, Jr. and his wife Julie, of Harrisburg, NC; Brian Kirby and his wife Celeste, of Greenville, NC; and five wonderful grandchildren: Grace Kirby Esh and her husband Derrick; Bennett Kirby and his wife Jessi; Emily Kirby Nagle and her husband Tom; Mary Ellen Kirby; and Eli Kirby.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Village Baptist Church, 906 S. McPherson Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "ALL for Him" Village Baptist Church.
