Betty Smith Morgan, a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse, passed away on August 8, 2024, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on November 11 1976, in Beverly, Kentucky, to her loving parents, Arnold and Annie Smith.
In her fulfilling career, Betty touched the lives of many through her work as a nurse. Graduating from nursing school, she devoted herself to taking care of others, showcasing her unwavering commitment to the well-being of her patients. Betty's proudest accomplishment was the genuine care and compassion she showed to those under her watch.
Betty's interests were as varied as they were vibrant. She found solace in the outdoors, indulged in flower gardening, treasured her time spent collecting various items, embraced the company of animals, explored new destinations through travel, and above all, cherished moments spent with her beloved family.
Betty is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arnold & Annie Smith and a treasured grandchild. Survived by her devoted husband, Rodney Morgan, of Stinnett, KY, Betty leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of her cherished children: Andrew Morgan, Tessa & Josh Davidson, and Charlie Morgan, all residing in Stinnett, KY. A treasured granddaughter on the way will carry forth Betty's spirit of love and kindness. She is also survived by her sisters, Elaine & Lewis Shepherd, Rebecca Stevens, and Wanda & Arthur Callahan, along with a host of special nieces, nephews, and special friends, including Mylanda and Charlene. Additionally, a multitude of other relatives and friends mourn Betty's passing.
Throughout her life, Betty found joy in the simple moments, creating memories with her family and friends that will be cherished for years to come. In the hearts of those who knew her, Betty's kindness, warmth, and nurturing spirit will forever remain a beacon of light.
In the gentle embrace of memories that she leaves behind, Betty Ann Smith Morgan will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral: Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Stinnett, KY.
Ministers: James Bowling, Jr. Justin Collett and Taylor Adams
Interment: Annie Smith Family Cemetery, (Pay Lake Drive) Essie, KY.
Pallbearers: Josh Davison, Andrew Morgan, Robert Horton, Lewis Shepherd, Anthony Morgan and Arthur Callahan
Visitation: Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church
