Died: October 27, 2024, Taylorsville, Utah at her daughter's home
Preceded in death by Parents Albert Richard Long, Juanita Edith Burton and siblings Peggy, Faye and Albert.
Preceded in death by her husband Boyd Earl Simper. Survived by 5 children Cindy (Kent) Downward, Tammy (Speedy) Grey, Carrie Rocha, Dale (Tracy) Jenkins, Boyd Simper Jr. and Wednesday (dog). 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She lived in Oklahoma, Utah and San Antonio Texas. She worked many years with Boyd in his Carpentry business as the book keeper.
Member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her family and caring for her home, she enjoyed gardening and arranging flowers. She had beautiful vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed going camping with family. She is remembered for reading "Where the Red Fern Grows" to Dale when he was young and created his love for reading. She had a lot to do with his love for dogs.
She will be cremated per her wish and the family will have a get together to celebrate her life next summer.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at IHC hospital in Murray and the hospice home healthcare nurses for their care and help at the end of her life.
