Beulah Marie May, age 91 of Ann Arbor, formerly of Monroe, passed away March 14, 2023.
Born December 4, 1931 in Newport, Beulah was the daughter of Benjamin and Lucy (Sisung) LaBeau. A graduate of Monroe High School, she married the love of her life, Joseph May, on April 14, 1956. Sadly he preceded her in death December 11, 1969. Beulah worked as an Insurance Adjuster for Michigan Mutual Insurance/Brooks Insurance.
Beulah leaves to cherish her memory her children: Laura (Klaus) Dumkow, Marilyn (Mike) Gibson, Garry (Annette) May and Larry May; grandchildren: Brian (Karen) Gibson, Kyle (Annie) Dumkow, Amanda (Brandon) Michalak, Lisa (Alan) Prala, Andy May, Krista Dumkow, Kimberly May, Cheryl (Kyle) Deegan, Timothy Barnett, Scott Bruck and Kevin Barnett; as well as her great grandchildren: Melanie Michalak, Evelyn Michalak, Nolan Michalak, Charlie Dumkow and Jakob Dumkow. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Janice (Arnold) Bruck and Linda (Alan) Barnett as well as two sibling Irene (Eugene) Noel and Floyd (Velma) LaBeau.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Brookdale Memory Care, Hospice of Lenawee County, or St. Mary's Catholic church.
