Beverly J. Chrisler

Beverly June Chrisler,97, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2022 at the Susquehanna Nursing Home after a brief period of declining health. June was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold (Hal) Chrisler Jr. in 2010, her parents William and Rachel (Wilbur) Lake; sister Jane Minerosa, brother William Lake, in laws Marguerite and William Bursik, Genevieve and Mike Roebuck and Mike Bidwell. June is survived by her children David (Mary Lou) Chrisler, Nancy (Randy) Rodman, Terry (James) Carey (with whom she resided) and Richard (Ellen Cranston-Chrisler) Chrisler; grandchildren Jennifer(Mike) Gousie, Stacey (Victor) Pires, Mike Chrisler, Elizabeth (Chris) Malarkey, Rachel (Chris) Bell, Laura Nelson, Heather (Alex) Carey Ganz and Christopher Carey as well as 11 great grandchildren. June is survived by her sister Wilma Bidwell and sister in law Fran Lake as well as several nieces and nephews. June was born in Johnson City and graduated from Johnson City High School. June enjoyed dancing the jitterbug to the "Big Bands" at the Fountains Pavilion in Johnson City. June was employed at Fairplay Caramel prior to the birth of her children. June provided daycare for her grandchildren Jennifer, Stacey, Heather, and Christopher. June was a skilled seamstress and an avid Yankee Fan. June and Hal traveled extensively and enjoyed beach vacations with Terry's family. The family would like to thank Lourdes and Susquehanna Nursing Home for their loving care of our mother. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 1pm at the Barber Memorial Home 428 Main Street Johnson City. The family will receive friends on Saturday at 11:30am until the time of the service at the Barber Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Lourdes Hospice or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
