Billy Edward Gallimore died at the age of 74 due to natural causes, on March 05, 2025. He was born on March 30,1950 in Albuquerque, NM, the son of Major and Eva Gallimore.
Billy graduated from West Mesa High School, Class of 1968. Following graduation, he served with the Air Force and Air Force National Guard. Before the Air Force he had two sons. While he was in the Air Force, he had a daughter. Billy met his wife, Velma Gallimore, and they married on June 12, 1993.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Velma Gallimore. Surviving in addition to his brother, John Gallimore and sister, Marry Muria, he has two sons, Major Gallimore and Sam Gallimore; daughter, Evelyn Anderson; grandchildren, Daniel Jewell, Joyce Jewell, Andrew Jewell, Brandon Lawrence-Gallimore, Tanner Lawrence-Gallimore, Aaron Lawrence-Gallimore, Chelsea Lawrence-Gallimore, and great grandson Huxley Lawrence; son-in-law, Brian Anderson; and daughter-in-law, Brianna Lawrence-Gallimore.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Those who wish to remember Billy in a special way, may make gifts in his memory to his daughter, Evelyn Anderson, 1035 Plum Ct., Janesville, WI 53546.
