It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Rubin, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, on July 27, 2024. Bob was born on October 30, 1943, and lived a full and vibrant life, filled with love for his family and passion for his interests.
Bob was predeceased by his loving wife, Biagia "Betty" Rubin and is survived by his son, Robert Rubin; his daughter, Jennifer Rubino; his granddaughters Emma and Abigail Rubino; his son-in-law, Michael Rubino, and daughter-in-law Elaine Rubin; his brothers Richard, Joseph, and Donald Rubin; his sister-in-laws, Fran, Stacey, and Celeste Rubin, and many more loving relatives. The love and memories they shared will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
Bob was a passionate fan of the New York Mets and New York Jets through all the good and bad years. His competitive spirit was demonstrated in his love for bowling as he was a member of numerous bowling leagues over the years.
We remember him best with a video game controller or bowling ball in hand, his blue eyes bright with excitement and determination to make that 10 pin spare or complete each level and quest in his video games.
Bob's legacy will live on in the love he shared with his family and friends, and through the many interests that brought him joy. His spirit will forever be a guiding light to all who were lucky enough to know him.
A viewing for Bob will be held on Wednesday July, 31, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Kedz Funeral Home in Toms River, NJ. We encourage attendees to share their fond memories related to all they knew and loved about him. Interment will be held on Thursday August 1, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY.
