Okeechobee – Bobby Joe Certain died November 26, 2023. He was born August 3, 1943 in Dade County, Florida. A resident of Okeechobee for 62 years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he was a gun enthusiast. He was a hard-working family man who lived a simple life.
Mr. Certain was preceded in death by his mother, Ester Lois Certain; brothers, Ricky Thompson, Glen Thompson, and Wayman Thompson; and son-in-law, Danny Robbins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Renne Certain; daughters, April Robbins and Cindy Raulerson (Jody); six grandchild, Brad Robbins (Stefanie), Josh Raulerson (Amanda), Jodi Domer (Jacob), Matthew Robbins (Tiffany), Jay Hamm, and Stefanie Pope; three great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Rhyatt, and Lillian; brother, Fred Thompson; and ex-wife, Janet Certain.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
