Bobby Hardee Obituary

A gathering to honor Bobby's life will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Sunday, August 24th, with visitation from 2:30–3:30 p.m. A private graveside service will follow.
Bobby was born in Pitt County and spent his life in Greenville, where he built a life rooted in family and hard work. He dedicated more than 30 years of his career to East Carolina University as an electrical supervisor, and continued his work as the owner and operator of Bobby Hardee Electric.
Beyond his professional life, Bobby was happiest when surrounded by family. He and his wife, Anne, shared countless memories traveling together, and he cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Alvah and Mildred Hardee; and siblings, Robert (Buster) Hardee, Millie (Cookie) Wiggins, and Alvah Hardee, Jr.
Bobby will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Anne Allen Hardee; daughter, Jo Lynne Daughtry and husband, Tim, and their son, Steven; and daughter, Suzanne Wilson and husband, Jay, and their daughter, Darby. He also leaves behind his sister, Joyce McRoy, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss his gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love.
Bobby's life was one of love and laughter. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
