Bobby Setser

Bobby Setser, age 67, passed away on July 13, 2025, at Northside Hospital Cherokee in his hometown of Canton, GA. Born on November 2, 1957, Bobby's life was a testament to the strong, hardworking, and generous person he was.
Bobby's love for the outdoors was evident to anyone who knew him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden.
Family was the cornerstone of Bobby's life. Nothing brought more joy to him than spending time with his grandchildren, he cherished every moment he had with them. Bobby never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to help someone.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 43 years, Becky Setser; children, Teddy Setser (Kaitlyn) and Cassidy Setser; grandchildren, Kinslee Setser, Kylee Setser, Trenton Setser, Caylan McElreath, Paul McElreath, Kolton Palmer and Sebastian Palmer; siblings, Debra Allen, Mary Gravley, Stevie Setser, Teresa Sellers and Daniel Setser; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Travis Childers officiating. Interment will follow in Old Macedonia Cemetery (Bartow County). The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17th from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday prior to the service from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
