Bobby Simon Obituary

Bobby is survived by Betty, his loving wife of 52 years; three children, Bobby (Tracy) Simon Jr., Melissa (Rich) Wines, Ray (Mercy) Simon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother Jerry Simon; and four sister in laws, Jackie Simon, Toni Bowker, Lana Mitchell and Midge Mitchell.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, JB and Louise Simon; one son, Jimmy Simon; one daughter Tina Impton; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Tootie) Woods, and Susie Rhoads; one brother Tom Simon; and two brother in laws, Rodger Mitchell and Bobby Mitchell.
Bobby was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam war and during the Cuban missile crisis. After serving Bobby went on to serve the Hillsdale community by working at the Hillsdale county court house as the maintenance supervisor.
Bobby was an avid outdoor enthusiast, often spending his leisure time engaging in activities such as boating, fishing, and motorcycle riding. He also dedicated time to raising and caring for rabbits at his residence. Above all, Bobby valued quality time with his family.
A funeral service to honor bobby's life will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale on Monday, June 23, 2025, beginning at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, June 22th from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please donate in Bobby's memory to the Henry Ford Hospice Home. Please visit www.hamptonfuneralhomes.com to sign the guestbook and/or send a condolence to the family.
