Brandon Allan Koebernick, born on October 13, 1975, in McAllen, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, in
College Station, Texas. He was a cherished member of his community and will be remembered fondly by all whose lives he touched.
Brandon's educational journey took him from his hometown of Magnolia, Texas, to Texas State University in San Marcos, and later to The New School in New York City. His thirst for knowledge and creativity was matched only by his ability to bring joy to others. People will always remember his infectious laughter, charming dry sense of humor, and his unique gift for making those around him smile.
A true creative spirit, Brandon was not only a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity but also a passionate participant in the arts. He was involved with the Working Man Clothes Theater Company based in New York City, where he had the opportunity to write two plays which were produced off-Broadway. His love for storytelling and theater exemplified his vibrant personality, which was characterized by a loving and personable nature.
Brandon held a profound love for sports and literature, but the most significant aspects of his life were his children and family. His Roman Catholic faith was another essential part of his life, providing him with strength and guidance throughout his journey.
Brandon leaves behind three adored daughters, Olive, Iris, and Eva Koebernick; his devoted parents, Doug and Cindy Koebernick; his brother, Clay Koebernick; his nephew Cade Koebernick, his aunt and uncle, Nellie and Kenneth Kirspel, and his uncle, Tom Caine.
Brandon was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Bessie and Chester Koebernick, Manuel and Ninfa Garza, and his aunt, Rebecca Caine.
Visitation services for Brandon will take place on November 14, 2025, at the Hillier Funeral Home of College Station, located at 4080 Texas 6 Frontage Rd,
College Station, Texas 77845, starting at 5:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM.
Brandon's legacy will endure through his artistic contributions and the love he shared with everyone around him. His memory will be cherished, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the countless individuals he inspired.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Brazos Valley Food Bank in Brandon's memory.
