Brenda Nadine Hidbrader

Brenda Nadine Hidbrader, 81, of Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born on March 17, 1944, in Mt. Vernon, to Kenneth and Vera L. (Darnell) Sailer. She married Joe Donald Hidbrader. Brenda was a homemaker and caretaker. She was a proud member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church where she was involved with the SOCC Pro-Life Ministry, Church Beautiful, the Ladies Christmas Breakfast, and several Beth Moore bible studies. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending her time doing arts and crafts. Brenda loved people and animals. She is survived by her sons, Joe D. (Laura) Hidbrader and Greg J. (Stephanie Mangin) Hidbrader; sister, Betty J. (Charles) Ricketts; brother, Rick R. (Margarette) Sailer; grandchildren, Blake, Alia Jo, and Ella Bree; step grandchildren, Alex, Baily, and Regan; goddaughter, Christy Ann Thompson; nephews, Brett, Kevin, and Shawn Felty, Jeff, Nick (Amber), and Brock (Catherine) Sailer, Stacy and Leah Miller; great nieces and nephews, Gabe and Luke Sailer, and Tyler and Jade Felty; and cousins, Denney, Debbie, Sherry, Gary, Randy, Gerald, Glenn, and Judy Sailer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Michael Sailer; and cousins, Pam, Bruce, and Stevie. A funeral service for Brenda will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
