DYER CHAPEL-Brenda Ann (Stone) Kirouac, 62, of Cookeville, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, June 13, 2025 after struggling with health issues for many years. She was born on October 4, 1962 in Bitburg, Germany, to the late Henry and Yvonne Stone.
Brenda was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, daughter, aunt and friend to many. She was an avid reader, enjoyed music, was a George Brett fan, collector of elephants, and found enjoyment in painting during her later years. She also cherished any time spent with family and friends. Brenda was a "glass half full" type of person, always trying to keep the positive side of life spotlighted, even when faced with challenges. This positive attitude made her more resilient to the many faces of adversity she experienced for years. Brenda's life motto was, "Happiness is not a station in life... it's a manner of traveling. Be happy!"
Brenda leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Before Brenda passed, she started writing her own obituary which read, "She died, but she had the best life with her lifelong love, Chris Kirouac. He was the best thing that ever happened. They had five wonderful children."
In addition to her husband Chris, Brenda is survived by her five children, Christopher (Mallorie) Kirouac Jr., and children, Amelia & Claire, Jason (Erin) Kirouac, and children, Taylor & Brooklyn, Robert Kirouac (Beth Meek) and children, Elijah & Sean, Melissa (Kalihib) Lander and children, Kinsley & Jude, Ashley (Justin) Roberson and children Brayden, Grayson & Jonathan; many other loved ones and friends survive.
Brenda's strength will inspire all those who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Kirouac home, 3466 Kuykendall Rd. Cookeville, TN from 10 am until 5 pm.
