Brenda Sue Shifflet, 73, wife of Irvine Shifflet, passed away on July 16, 2023 in Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Shifflet was born in Lexington on August 23, 1949 to the late Woodrow Snowden and Mae Caskey. She was an Insurance Underwriter with Wells Fargo and was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved tending to the flowers in her garden, and she especially loved going on motorcycle rides with her husband.
She is survived by her daughter Amy (Ian) Collett, her son Randy (Sunshine) Stinnett and her stepsons Brian (Stacy) Shifflet, and Kenny (Carrie) Shifflet. Her grandchildren Hayden Stinnett, Charlie Collett, Gracie Shifflet, Benjamin Shifflet, Kyler Shifflet, Nathan Shifflet, and Olivia Conrad and her sisters Delora Thrift and Betty Jean Cromer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shifflet was preceded in death by her brothers Bobby Fannin and Clayton Fannin.
There will be a gathering of friends and family to celebrate Mrs. Shifflet's life on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 2-5pm at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville.

Brenda was my Sister-in-Law in her first Marriage.... I miss seeing Brenda but she knew she was always invited to the Stinnett/Means Christmas. such a quiet loving woman .... May God comfort her Family in their loss.
