Brian Keith Caldwell was born on October 13, 1969 in Plainfield, NJ to the late James D. Caldwell and Alice Rogers Caldwell. Brian was the second oldest of three siblings. He entered eternal rest on May 10, 2022 in Newark, NJ.
Brian (or Busy B) graduated from Plainfield High School in 1987, where he played football for the Cardinals. He went to college at Alabama State University. Brian worked as a manager for Wendy's before transitioning to the New Jersey Food Bank where he became interested in Information Technology (IT). He pursued his IT Certifications and went on to work as an IT Support Specialist at Unisys, a global IT company in Jersey City, NJ.
In 2006, Brian experienced a love like no other the birth of his only son, Jorden Myles Caldwell. Affectionately known as "Nu", Jorden bought so much joy to Brian's life. He poured his heart and soul into his son. There wasn't a day that Brian didn't talk about Jorden and how much he loved him.
A diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, Brian's love of football began early with Pop Warner and continued through high school. He soon started to coach for various teams throughout the Newark/East Orange area. Of course, there was no doubt that Brian would encourage Jorden to pursue football as well.
Brian was also loved old school hip hop and R &B, especially the Spinners, Biggie Smalls and New Edition. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Brian had a great sense of humor, a big heart and loved by many. He will truly be missed.
Brian leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jorden Myles Caldwell, his mother, Alice Rogers Caldwell, sisters Paulette D. Caldwell and Stacy Caldwell, nephew, Dejon J. Caldwell and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
