Brian Heier Obituary
It is with profound sadness, that our family announces the death of, Brian J Heier, of Weston WI. After a lengthy, courageous, always positive, never complaining fight with cancer, he peacefully lost his battle in the early hours of March 10th, 2025, surrounded by close family.
As a friend stated, "He fought it a long time, and never changed his personality." He lived each day with positivity, hope, family and friends! He never complained, remaining cheerful, energetic, and boisterous.
He graduated high school from Medford. He then served in the Navy, which he was very proud of. He especially enjoyed volunteering for the Man of Honor Society.
Every year the family spent time at Lake Alva, which was always a good time. He also enjoyed bowling with his good friend Barry Cooper. Golfing in summer league with his brothers in law, Conrad, Steve, and nephew, Brandon. In the winter he looked forward to planning ice fishing trips with his close brother, Kurt and cousin, Todd. He always looked forward to these trips! He was fortunate to make his last one this past January.
He also spent precious time in the pool, with the grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lisa (Notz). Children, Justin (Kyla), Derek (Phyllis) and Kendra (Trent) and daughter in law, Myranda. Grandchildren, Rylie, Kaden, Troy, Alex, Payton, Carson, and Ellianna. His parents John and Bette Heier. Siblings, Jacquelyn, and Kurt. Special cousin, Todd. Nephew, Jack, and niece Grace. Sister-in-law, Jill (Conrad) Harris, their daughter, Taylor. Brother-in-law Steve Notz and his son Brandon (Rose) Notz.
He was proceeded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Jack and Eunice Heier, Maternal Grandparents, Patrick and Edith Clough. In laws Betty and Bill Notz. And niece Maisi Schrauth.
The family will have a Celebration of Brian's life at a later date. Information to follow.
A very special "Thank you" to Dr. Peterson, Sarina RN, and the whole staff at the Aspirus Cancer Center for giving Brian another 11 plus years after his diagnosis. He was able to enjoy 3 more grandchildren during this time.
