Brian Larry Larson, age 63, passed away on August 26, 2025 at Essentia Health in Fargo.

Brian was born on November 12, 1961 to Larry and Ilene (Hoaby) Larson. He grew up on a farm east of Lisbon and graduated in the Lisbon High School Class of 1980. During high school, he was active in sports, band, choir, drama, and FFA. He was Junior Class President and in his Senior year was selected as one of the Most Representative and Most Talented in his class. Brian was a member of Pop Singers, and his joy of singing continued after graduation as he sang at weddings of several of his friends.

Brian attended NDSU briefly before going home to farm, which he did for several years. He later decided to go back to college in Moorhead where he obtained a computer degree. Brian worked for Solugenix (formerly SEI) for over 20 years, providing technical support for various companies and residing in Fargo. In 2023, he moved back to Lisbon to assist his mother in her health struggles. He retired in 2024 and continued living in Lisbon where he was grateful to be part of a smaller community.

Brian found joy in decorating for Christmas, putting up lights wherever he could to brighten things up for himself and for others to enjoy. He also liked lighting fireworks to put on a display for family and friends.

Brian is survived by his sister Debra (Patrick) Walker, nephews and nieces including; Brendan (Jena) Walker, Keely (Treyton Hoogland) Walker, Jackson Walker, Alexander Walker, Erika (Brandon) Yoney and Briana Walker. He also leaves behind many friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Ilene Larson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisbon with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Lisbon. Brian's service will be live streamed below.
