Brian Joseph Lodovico, 62, of Bayville, NJ passed away on July 22, 2024 after an extended illness. His last 6 weeks were spent under the care of the tireless ICU team at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
He was born in Vineland NJ in 1962 to the late Joseph & Gloria (Rossatto) Lodovico. Brian graduated from Vineland High School in 1981. He worked for the state of NJ in his early years at the Vineland Developmental Center. Brian was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church (Divine Mercy) until he moved. He had a strong faith in God & shared his beliefs with others.
Brian enjoyed hunting with his father, talking about the "old days", all the Philadelphia sports teams & telling corny jokes to whoever would listen (and sometimes to those who weren't listening)! He loved to buy gifts for his family for Christmas and Birthdays and would start talking about these occasions months in advance.
Brian is survived by his sister Alice Frangakis; brother-in-law George Frangakis and his nephews Nicholas, Marcus and Jaegar Frangakis. He is also survived by his Aunt Jackie & Uncle George Lodovico of Vineland, NJ and Aunt Nan of California. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Gloria Lodovico; his wife Carmen Mecke; grandparents, Thomas & Agnes (Pennock) Rossatto and John & Alice (Scaglia) Lodovico and his uncles, John & Charles Lodovico.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Vineland.
